Austin Roofing Brings Triton Roof Repair and Waterproofing System to Ontario Just in Time for Winter

Austin Roofing & Waterproofing today introduced the Triton seamless roofing repair and waterproofing system to the Ontario market. Austin is the first authorized and certified installation partner in the province for Triton, a spray-on seamless membrane that adheres to any substrate or surface, instantly creating a flexible waterproof layer. The company's initial efforts will focus on serving commercial and industrial buildings with flat roofs such as metal, steel, EPDM, built-up roof, PVC and others. Austin is offering a free roof inspection to show area businesses how Triton can protect their buildings.

"Ontario has some extreme weather, which means buildings need roofing materials that can expand and contract to withstand the harsh conditions," said Richard Austin, Owner of Austin Roofing & Waterproofing. "For commercial properties and industrial companies that are dealing with everything from minor leaks to major roofing challenges, now is the time to address them before they get worse."

Austin added, "Today's common roofing systems consist of layers of overlapping substrates where offsetting the seams are designed to create a water barrier. The issue is that seams-are-seams and with time they will separate causing leaks. With our Triton seamless system, we can create an instant seal over all or part of the existing roof system. It's a proven product with outstanding durability and just what Ontario buildings need."

Triton's patented roofing system features an instant-setting liquid rubber membrane that is water-based and environmentally safe. The material can be sprayed to any thickness, yet remains extremely flexible with 1,900 times elongation, even during sub-zero temperatures. One single pass of the liquid rubber creates a fully adhered, waterproof membrane with no waste. The membrane is approved for a Class A fire rating, is highly resistant to UV, ozone, salt spray and chemicals, and is covered by up to a 40-year warranty on materials and labor.

"This is the first time many companies in our area have heard of or seen a product like this, and many never associate roofing repair with waterproofing," stated Austin. "What we would tell them is whether they need to fix a small leak, restore an old roof, or simply want to waterproof a recent roofing job, our roofing experts and the Triton line of products can provide an efficient and affordable solution. In many cases, Triton improves the strength and durability of their existing roofs helping to avoid the exorbitant cost of a total roof replacement. Triton is used around the world to help protect businesses, and Austin is fortunate enough to be the certified installer for Ontario."
